These cooking classes are the perfect way to explore the joys and intricacies of cooking authentic Indian food.  From Parantha to Halwa, from Pulaav to Tikka, the variety will make you hungry and curious for more. Our cooking classes aim at providing the participants a full 360° perspective of all things that a good cook should know. You learn about proper usage of spices, what effect can be had with what kind of ingredient, social and health significance of food items  and more. The pace and plan of cooking is adjustable according to expertise level of the participants and are perfect for an absolute beginner as well as experienced cooks. Names of some dishes are included with each cooking class option. It may differ according to season, availability and preference of the guests. All these cooking classes are for vegetarian food only and meat dishes can be added on extra charge and prior confirmation as detailed below. Cooking classes for vegans and private cooking classes can be arranged on request. All classes are led by a local chef with extensive experience in cooking.

Short Indian Cooking Classes 

Cooking Class Duration: 5-6 Hours.
Transport: Free pickup and drop from central Delhi zone available. Can be arranged for INR 1500 from places outside central Delhi.
Start Times : Can be between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Cost: INR 6500 per slot on purchase of two or more slots. One slot for INR 7500

Full Day Indian Cooking Classes

Cooking Class Duration: 8-9 Hours.
Transport: Free pickup and drop from central Delhi zone available. Can be arranged for INR 1500 from places outside central Delhi.
Start Times : Can be between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm.
Cost: INR 10000 per slot on purchase of two or more slots. One slot for INR 12000

Chutneys (dhaniya -pudina)
Masala chai
1 dal (lentil), 4 vegetables
Raita
Rice / Pulaao
Indian breads: roti, 2-3 different paranthas
Desserts: halwa, kheer

Meat Dishes :

Some meat dishes can be included in the menu as per following:

  1. Up to 2 meat curries like Mutton curry, Butter chicken and a few others  for Rs 1500.
  2. Up to 2 barbeque meat dishes like kababs and tikkas for Rs 1800.

INCLUSIONS:

  1. Transport from central Delhi zone as mentioned above.
  2. Cost of all cooking ingredients.
  3. Snacks, tea, non-alcoholic drinks during class. Meals of what you cook.
  4. A gift hamper of assorted essential spices.

A movie shoot was going on in Old Delhi’s Chwari Bazar the day we did this food walk. So one of the streets we walked through was full of the shooting crew and curious locals. Some of them mistook us for part of the crew.

This custom city walk in Old Delhi and New Delhi was a mix of food tasting and shopping for shoes, clothing,  jewelry and spices in New Delhi.  We spent around 9 hours in Old Delhi and New Delhi in total visiting 8 shops for food tasting and a few more for the shopping part.

Just book it!  We did a custom tour that was half food tour in Old Delhi and half shopping. I was completely blown away – the quality of everything was amazing! All the food was delicious. And, just as everyone else has stated nobody got sick. The shopping was the best! Raj helped to ensure that we got really good deals and that we went to quality places. We arranged a 6 hours Delhi Food Walk  for MacGregors from UK and we had two other visitors from Mumbai who wanted for a Mini Food Walk ( 2 hours)  a few hours before we were scheduled to start. So we had 4 guests in total, 2 for the short 2 hours food walk in Old Delhi and 2 for the 6 hours food walk in Old Delhi and New Delhi both

This photo & food walk takes you to centuries old streets and bazaars of Old Delhi area and help you taste the delectable street food as well as take some memorable pictures in about 4-5 hours.
